We are so excited to bring you DREAM again this year with an even bigger and better all-star cast, not to mention it will be graciously hosted by the ever-so-chic W San Diego. This year DREAM brings you the best of the best in San Diego yet again, but with a wonderful new spin.
For those of you new to DREAM, this is no ordinary bridal show! We select one prestigious San Diego vendor in each category and utilize their talents to transform a space. Our cohesive design layout allows brides to see how all vendors work together, just like at a wedding, to create a magical atmosphere. In fact, this year we are excited to offer pre-set packages in all different budget ranges, allowing brides to see how their money is allocated in order to book the entire DREAM team. Yes, it’s a breeze and stress-free – the way planning a wedding should be! Check out the amazing roster for DREAM 2013:

Boho Glam Winter Wedding Table from the US Grant Bridal show
We recently created a design for the US Grant SWOON Bridal Show here in San Diego and was featured in the ‘winter’ ballroom. With a boho glam California winter wedding in mind, I created a free standing structure which I built and then mirrored to allow the ability to hang elements above a table whether it be in a ballroom or on a beach! With the panels being mirrored, it doesn’t block any views but really only enhances them by reflection.
To create the balance of boho, modern and glam at the same time, I wanted to infuse natural elements, fur, texture, shells and shine all together for a play on the senses. The talented Melissa from Pow Wow custom made this amazingly stunning macrame backdrop to order for this design, and of course can rent it for your wedding as well!
To create a zen-like feeling, I had a vision of having a floating centerpiece, so that no candles or flowers would touch the table but levetate above it. With our suspended shelves and low-profile softly hued floral arrangements by Isari Flower Studio we did just that.
For a luxurious start, we layered on custom fur place mats I designed on top of a lush leather table by Hire Elegance. We used a clean square china from Classic Party Rentals then we brought on gold and blue vintage-glam glasses, goldware & other magnificent table baubles by the lovely Farra at Hostess Haven.

DREAM:: An Intimate Bridal Affair
A San Diego Intimate Bridal Show featuring Modern Luxury Design
A few weeks ago we had the exciting idea to collaborate with our favorite San Diego vendors and create a very un-bridally bridal show! Along with Isari Flower Studio and Luna Photo, we pulled together our favorite San Diego vendors and designed and coordinated this special event just as we would a real wedding. No big tacky signs, no booths, nothing like a traditional bridal show! I really wanted to show a bride ‘this is how we would really all work together!’. From creating a cohesive design plan, site plan and gearing our furniture, flowers, food, music and drinks all towards the same design direction for one cohesive look verses a piecemeal feeling that you walk away from traditional bridal shows with.
Whether you need to fill in a few spots in your vendor list or come and hire the DREAM team as a whole, we were and are very proud to bring you San Diego’s best! Thank you everyone for helping us have had such an amazing turn out of more than 350 brides! With such an amazing success DREAM may be making another appearance later this year.

What DREAM is, is a cohesive event designed like I would design any other event. From the inspirations to the layout and details, I wanted to show you what a real event could look like from this fantastic team of vendors working together instead of showcasing segmented booths like a traditional show.
In a world of Anthropologie /vintage/ rustic obsessed brides I wanted to showcase a different type of throwback with a retro glam feeling to it but also infuse a air of pop art and surrealism for dramatic and intriguing twist.
